On November 20, 1970, three friends, Jimmy Allen Williams 16, Thomas Michael Rios, 18, and Leah Gail Johnson 18, went for a ride in Jimmy's 1969 Chevy Camaro. The trio who were all from Sayre, in Beckham County, Oklahoma, were planning on going to a football game in Elk City that day. The possibility exists that they may have gone hunting instead on Turkey Creek Road. None of the three ever came home, and the car has never been located.
