THE brother of an Andover man who has been missing since June 6 is appealing for people in Winchester to help find him.
Dean McConville and his family have extended their search from the Andover area down to Stockbridge and Sutton Scotney and are hoping someone in Winchester may have seen 39-year-old Barry McConville.
They have been putting up posters across the area in a bid to jog people's memories.
Police said Mr McConville was last seen by his wife near his home in Sheep Fair, Andover, at lunchtime on June 6.
His brother said he was using crutches and, even if he had discarded them, would be walking with a limp.
Mr McConville is white, of heavy build, with receding dark brown hair and clean-shaven.
Dean McConville said: "Somebody from Winchester could have seen him and thought nothing of it until now."
Police said the missing man could have been wearing a blue Berghaus fleece, blue jeans and Velcro strap sandals when he went missing.
They think he might have headed to Dorset or elsewhere in the West Country, but his family are keen to spread the message as far as possible.
Anyone with information is asked to call Andover police on 0845 045 45 45 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line 0800 555111.
